Davening

I stand on my porch and daven
As I daven my attention wanders
And I look at the hills of Judea
Gleaming white in the sunlight
Under a sky of exquisite blue.
Beautiful, vibrant, alive
The kedushah of the land.
As I daven I feel closer to Hashem
For I am here
In His land
And I am warm
and loved
and answered.
